Patani Daño, Survivor Philippines, a reality show franchised from the famous reality tv Survivor by Castaway Productions.

She was voted out 4th from the castaways. She is one of the most popular castaway of Survivor Philippines. She said on an interview that although she didn’t win, she was still glad she joined Survivor Philippines, because through Survivor Philippines, she got the “exposure” she always wanted, her ticket to showbiz.

She just joined Survivor Philippines, the first reality show in the Philippines, which was shot at Thailand. Premiers on September 15, 2008 at 9:15 p.m.

PROFILE:

She was born and raised in Camotes Island, Cebu.

She is 20 years old.

Prior to survivor Philippines, she joined StarStruck, another reality show in Philippine tv, but failed to qualify, yet she never lost hope in making her dreams come true, ~ to become a star.

She loves acting, hosting, and modeling. She went to every audition she could just to follow her dream.

COMMERCIAL FLIGHTS SOON BETWEEN CAMOTES, MACTAN

CEBU, June 18, 2005 (STAR) By Fred Languido – The four-municipality Camotes Island will soon have commercial flights after the rehabilitation of the airport of San Francisco town, Mactan Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA) general manager Adelberto Yap said.

Yap said Sea Air and Asian Spirit have shown interest in establishing flights to Camotes Island from Mactan. However, the two airline companies have yet to conduct an ocular inspection of the area.

A joint venture of the MCIAA and the provincial government, last month’s rehabilitation of the Camotes airport, which will be operational in three months, stemmed from the request of San Francisco town officials.

Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia earlier said that having commercial flights would boost tourism on the island since it is a potential tourist destination.

Meanwhile, Yap said the MCIAA is expanding its terminal to accommodate more international flights.

He said that pending the construction of a new terminal, he would put two more tubes at the existing terminal in preparation for the two additional international flights starting next month.

Yap said Asiana Airlines will have a direct flight from Korea to Cebu starting July 16, and Korean Airlines two days later.

International airline companies such as Mandarin Airlines, Far Eastern Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Qatar Airways, Silk Air and Malaysian Airlines have existing flights to Cebu. — Freeman News Service
