Soli-soli Festival in Cebu Camotes
If Cebu City has their own Sinulog Festival in honor of the Senyor Sto. Nino, Camotes Islands also has their own event to celebrate and show devotion to Saint Joseph in which they call Soli Soli Festival. This festivity is celebrated every 3rd Sunday of March in San Francisco, Camotes Cebu.
Just like the Sinulog Festival, the streets will be filled with a parade of colorful dancers showing their love for Saint Joseph. True in Filipino culture, people also celebrate by throwing parties into their households. Other activities are also dancing contests, the disco and a beauty pageant held in San Francisco, Camotes Municipal Gym.
